Racial Justice Statement
Hephzibah Children’s Association Racial Justice Statement
At its core, racial justice is about ensuring that every individual, regardless of race or ethnicity, has equal rights, opportunities, and protections under the law. It acknowledges historical and ongoing injustices faced by marginalized communities and seeks to dismantle systemic racism in all its forms. At Hephzibah, we are committed to equity and inclusivity, we unequivocally stand for racial justice. We believe that every person deserves to live free from discrimination, prejudice, and bias. We recognize that achieving true racial justice requires ongoing education, dialogue, and action at individual, organizational, and societal levels.
We condemn all forms of racism, discrimination, and hate, and we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. We strive to listen to and amplify the voices of marginalized communities, to actively work towards dismantling systemic barriers, and to foster a culture of empathy, respect, and understanding. We acknowledge that our journey toward racial justice is ongoing, and we are committed to continuous learning, growth, and accountability. Together, we can build a more just and equitable world for all.
