Hephzibah Halloween Fun Run/Walk

Last weekend, the Halloween fun started early at the annual Hephzibah Halloween Fun Run/Walk hosted by the Hephzibah Oak Park Auxiliary Board. For the third year on a row, this family-friendly event was a huge success with race participants and dozens of generous sponsors who all participated to support Hephzibah’s mission and life-changing work.

Over 150 people, most in costume, gathered in River Forest to run and walk the race course which winds through the beautiful neighborhood surrounding Constitution Park. Runners and walkers were treated to a pre-race warm-up by Fit4Mom, and musical sets by DJ Matteo and School of Rock Oak Park. Children were treated to face painting, games, candy, a photo booth and high fives from the Oak Park River Forest High School mascot who cheered on the crowd.

Proceeds from this event benefit Hephzibah’s Prevention Services which help families in crisis stabilize and thrive. We are grateful for the support of the community, our sponsors and supporters – families helping families makes our community flourish.

Did you miss the run this year? You can still donate your support today!
