The 2nd annual Halloween Fun Run/Walk was a huge success!
If you were there, you know how much fun it was! If you weren’t there, you can join next Halloween, or even better, join the Oak Park Auxiliary Board who organized this wonderful event and have fun year-round planning more events like this!
On October 28th, over 125 participants joined the fun, and over 30 volunteers helped make the event a success. Sponsored by dozens of local businesses, this event is fast becoming a local favorite family Halloween event!
Our costumed participants enjoyed treats, mingling and a fun warm up with local fitness group Fit4Mom before hitting the streets on foot, stroller and wagon! The fun continued post-race at Constitution Park for giveaways and a drawing for wonderful prizes generously donated by our sponsors.
The Oak Park Auxiliary is a wonderful group of local volunteers who host fun activities, events and fundraisers to help fund our programs for children and families. Joining one of our auxiliaries, or being on a committee for an event are wonderful ways to help, and you can participate as much or as little as you are able. Join today by clicking HERE!
