Family Owned Gene & Georgetti Supports Chicago’s Hephzibah Children’s Association

November is National Adoption Month, and Gene & Georgetti (500 N Franklin St. downtown; and 9241 W Higgins Rd. in Rosemont), continues its support of local nonprofit Hephzibah Children’s Association by donating a portion of proceeds from dessert sales all month long.

Funding helps the Hephzibah’s Group Homes in its mission to provide a warm and nurturing environment for children who have been traumatized by abuse, neglect, multiple foster care placements or failed adoptions. Their family based services renew and strengthen family bonds and their foster care services create new, loving and secure family ties. Hephzibah’s day care program offers an award winning educational experience for children in the community- regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

In addition to the November campaign, Gene & Georgetti will host a private holiday party for the children featuring fun activities, good eats and treats.

“Our family knows first hand the joys of adoption and the importance of supporting children in need of love and care. We’re proud to kick-off our fourth year of raising both awareness and funds for Hephzibah Children’s Association during November,” says the Durpetti Family, Gene & Georgetti’s owners.
