The Hephzibah HeartPrint Award was created to honor high school seniors who have gone above and beyond for Hephzibah, and we are lucky there is never a shortage of candidates! The HeartPrint Award winners are seniors who have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to our mission and are dependable, adaptable, and committed to spreading awareness about Hephzibah. This year, we are thrilled to award three deserving high school seniors, who have given so much to Hephzibah:
Rachel Prestes: Rachel has spent her time as a Huskie Helper officer showing up for each event ready and excited to help out. Rachel has made sure each Huskie meeting is prepped and organized by not only creating the agenda, but also by making the meetings fun and engaging for her peers. She always maintains a positive attitude and seeks different ways to help.
Lane Ledogar: Lane is also a Huskie Helper officer and has consistently made an effort to lead her peers. She works well with the children of Hephzibah Home and is always looking for a way to improve any Huskie outing. She’s helped out at several events and always jumps in with a smile. At a recent event where the Huskies took the kids from Hephzibah Home ice skating, Lane made a point to pair up with one of the kids and encouraged her throughout the event, building her confidence and making her smile. She shows all the characteristics of a great role model.
Ryan Adelstein: Ryan has been a Huskie Helper for several years and is serving as an officer of the club this year. He regularly shows initiative and takes on more than his fair share of the workload. Ryan makes it a point to contribute ideas and often takes a lead role in events and activities, especially when it comes to fundraising. He always arrives with a positive attitude and demonstrates remarkable dependability.
Thank you to all the Huskie Helpers for making the lives of the children we serve better and for your heartfelt dedication to Hephzibah!
